Anchoring the Soul

Pastor Kim opens the Zayin stanza of Psalm 119:49-56 and shows how God’s word becomes the believer’s only true light and anchor when the soul is plunged into darkness. He teaches that remembering God’s promises produces unshakable hope, that the Word itself quickens and comforts in affliction, and that we can sing God’s statutes even as pilgrims passing through a hostile world pointing ultimately to Jesus who kept every precept perfectly for us.
