1A.  Edification:  “Building up Yourselves”

A redeemed man is an important edifice because Christ lives in him by faith.

2A.  Supplication:  “Praying in the Holy Ghost”

The Holy Spirit is God.  When God carries your petition it is safely delivered.

3A.  Preservation:  “Keep yourselves in the love of God”

You cannot, in your strength, conquer sin.  You can, by His grace, keep yourself in God’s love.  He will do the rest.

4A.  Anticipation:  “Looking for mercy”

God will “wipe away our tears.”  Jesus went “to prepare a place for us.”  We are born on the little side of eternity but equipped with a super natural “anticipator.”
